Who We Are?
Brisbane Bee Sanctuary is dedicated to the protection and support of Brisbane's honey bees. Through live human relocation by hand, and fostering sanctuaries around South East QLD, we aim to enhance the well-being of these important pollinators and their habitats.
Based centrally in Brisbane we service all the way from the Sunshine Coast to the Gold Coast and West to Ipswich.

Why live bee removal?
Honey bees are crucial to our food system. They pollinate one in three bites of food we eat. Live bee removal saves your bee colony and we remove all the comb and honey which can mold and kill other animals if left poisoned.
What to expect with live bee relocation
When we relocate bees from your home, we do it carefully and by hand, using vacuums only when absolutely necessary to ensure the bees’ wellbeing. We transfer the entire colony into a new hive box and leave it in place until the end of the day, allowing any foraging bees time to return and rejoin their colony before we collect the hive.
